Due to weight restrictions, we can only accept small amounts of soil or rubble. You may add up to 10 rubble bags (approx. 3 wheelbarrow loads) to a mixed waste skip. Adding more may result in a refusal of collection or additional charges. If you are unsure, please call us before booking.
In order for us to offer the best skip option for your needs we will ask a few questions about the type of waste you need to dispose of, how long you’d like the skip for, and whether there are any obstructions in the areas around your home or land. If you’ve never booked a skip before, don’t worry! We are always on hand to answer any questions you might have and to alleviate any concerns. The delivery and removal of skips from Box Rubbish is normally a straightforward process. To ensure that we are able to offer you an efficient service, please bear in mind the following information:
Filling The Skip
Due to the mode of transportation and road safety, we are unable to remove the skip if it’s too full. Please ensure you keep the contents level, otherwise we will need to remove some items before taking the skip away. If you’re unsure about which items can be added, please call and one of our friendly team can discuss this with you.
Delivery
Our skips are delivered on our 3.5k transit skip trucks to an off-road position. If you think there might be an issue with access to your property (for example, access codes for gates or roads with uneven terrain) please let us know prior to the delivery date.
Duration
Normally we offer a 7-day hire on all of our skips. If you feel this might be too short, or even too long, we can discuss this with you after receiving your initial enquiry.
Our skip hire service covers Sudbury, Colchester and Hadleigh.
If you find that you are throwing away several bulky items or are short on time, we do offer a complete rubbish removal service. We can also disassemble bulky items such as greenhouses, trampolines or sheds. For more information about this service, and what’s included, please click here.
